I was so excited to get to photograph my newborn nephew! It means that I get to see them before a lot of people and I get to feel out their temperament and get to know them a little bit. It is such a privilege. 🙂 My sister in law, Katie, is pretty laid back when it comes to these types of things, so I had a lot of freedom on what to photograph, which is fun. Big sis used to be a bit of a challenge for me to photograph, but she has recently gotten really good at being photographed! It’s been awesome! She did a GREAT job posing and holding her brother. Then, when we got the whole family together a little while later, she had had enough. She pouted. Eventually, she said she would only smile if she got to hold the baby. Well, ok, I can work with that. Even after posing her, she had her pouty face on, however, I had great pictures of her holding brother earlier in the day. I win! Haha! I did get one smile out of her, but her better smiles came in the morning. I love photoshop!!
We are so excited to have a new nephew. My 4 year old said, “I just love my baby cousin! He is SO CUTE and SO LITTLE!” Welcome to the family little guy!
I love his lips in the elephant picture! So adorable!
Daddy is a firefighter, so I had to use the most adorable baby firefighter set!
Just a reminder that newborn photos are best done in the first two weeks after the baby is born. If you’re ready to schedule a newborn photo session, please contact me. lullabiesandlacephotography@gmail.com.
