Daisy’s husband works with trains, so we had to get some trains in this little guy’s newborn photo session! I was very lucky to be able to borrow this awesome train set from another photographer. Thank you Katherine Vess!! I also borrowed the train set I played with growing up from my mom. I’m sure that this strong little guy will be playing with trains very soon!
When I say he is a strong little guy, I mean it! He was cluster feeding during our first session and just seemed to not be able to get enough. He put on a lot of weight in the first week, which is great for him, but not so great for me trying to get him to sleep when all he wanted to do was eat. We did get a few shots of him sleeping, but boy, it did not last long.
He did better when Dad was holding him. I think he likes his daddy, and I can tell the feeling is mutual! 🙂
So, there I am trying to pose this week old baby, and, BAM, he just lifts his head up and stares right at me! What!?! That has never happened to me before. He looked at me, then looked out the window, then looked at the ceiling. He just held his head up for a good while all by himself. Yep! He’s strong!
